Anonymized data used for AI training may be retained indefinitely.
8. AI Technologies & Data Processing
To provide our specialized speech analysis, SpeakUp utilizes advanced Artificial Intelligence and Machine
Learning models. This section clarifies how these technologies interact with your data:
- AI-Powered Analysis: Your voice recordings are processed in real-time to extract
fluency, tone, and grammatical patterns. This data is converted into numerical vectors for analysis
and is not stored as raw audio after the analysis is complete, unless you explicitly choose to save the
recording.
- Third-Party AI Processors: We partner with industry-leading AI providers (such as
OpenAI, AWS AI, or Google Cloud AI) to provide specific features. We ensure these partners adhere to
strict data privacy standards and that they do NOT use your Personal Data to train their own foundation
models.
- Model Optimization: To improve our feedback accuracy, we may use de-identified and
aggregated usage data. We do NOT use your specific, personally identifiable transcripts to train general
models without your explicit, opt-in consent.
- Automated Decision Making: The feedback provided by our AI is intended for
informational purposes. All significant progress assessments or challenge completions are transparent
and can be reviewed by you.
